Quick update: Got to sunny Mallorca, where everything has an impermanent, holiday feel, which is pleasant but a bit unsettling. I have managed to leave behind the post-partum blues and other after-effects of childbirth and all that is left is a beautiful, content baby whom I adore.
In the hour or so a day I get for writing I write fevereshly. I have started to write what I really know, as is always the advice. I hope the result is good.

- Seeing that I'm no longer twenty seven, I guess it's time to change my profile. Of late, I'm twenty eight, a dedicated (though not legitimate) Vancouverite, still a Mum, still a happy person. And yes, I still endeavor to call myself a real writer, with a novel now to my name, though not yet published. Someone's advice for how to be a great writer was to read a lot, write a lot, and go get your heart broken. I'm doing well on all counts, so, I guess any moment now I'll cross the invisible line. :)
